This is the third novel in the Elizabeth Stanton series.

Stunned by her body's recent death, she acquires a new life only to find it is a male body and that a significant number of years have passed while she was comatose. Struggling with this change of circumstances, she must continue her quest, to find and rescue Alabaster.

Forming into a roving band of troubadours, they travel the length and breadth of Tarra, searching for the druwid leader. Wild adventures accompany their every move, including several encounters with the mysterious Grey Creatures.

With Alabaster rescued, the two devise a plan that may eliminate both the two strange species who have been controlling evolution on Tarra.
