Born in a tiny town called Plano, Colorado, just south of Arapahoe, Lindsey lives with her mother, before she receives a full scholarship to go to one of the more prestigious magical schools in the US.

The evil wizard, Dominus Malefic, escapes from prison and in turn rescues his henchmen, known as the Death Stalkers. Now they set about wreaking havoc around the country.

His goal is to steal an ancient relic, the rod, which will give him the power to control all of the world, to dominate the people and force them to his will. Lindsey must stop him somehow, though she becomes his prisoner along the way.
