Now in her second year at Bradbury's School of Magic, Lindsey becomes involved in a sinister plot. Someone is conducting a lengthy series of attacks upon the students and the school. From blowing up the stadium stands, to attacking her school bus, someone is trying to harm them.

Yet, as the plot unfolds, her friend, Pam, discovers that it is really an attempt by Dominus to have Governor Alister disgraced and forced to relinquish his position as the leader of the school.
